Talan Racing:

Talan Racing Team is made up of two disabled motorcyclists, both paraplegics. With each rider being injured and disabled as a direct result of a motorcycle accident. Through considerable efforts, they have overcome the mental barriers to race the very machine that caused the life changing injuries they sustained.

In June 2012 Talan Skeels-Piggins became Britain’s first paraplegic to qualify for an ACU race license. This enabled him, and now other disabled riders, to compete against able-bodied racers on-track.

Andy Haughton, the other team rider, is also Britain’s No.1 Para-rower for the arms-only category. He is also hoping to be representing the UK in the 2020 Paralympics.
